maintain stable, affordable housing in the Richmond community, with support

Eligibility
To qualify for our Supported Housing Program, applicants must:
- Be 19 years of age or older
- Be a member of Pathways Clubhouse
- Not a member yet? Booking a tour is the first step.
- Have a primary diagnosis of mental illness
- Meet financial criteria (e.g., receive PWD, CPP, or have low income)
- Have a strong connection to the Richmond community
- Be able to live independently with appropriate supports
What We Offer
Members in the Supported Housing Program receive practical,
individualized support, including:
- Subsidy assistance to help make market-rate housing more affordable(Note: Subsidies are limited and a waitlist may apply)
- Staff support tailored to your needs and goals
- A dedicated Housing Worker as a consistent point of contact
- The flexibility to live anywhere in Richmond in market-rate housing

Rio Vista is part of our ongoing commitment to supporting individuals in building stable and meaningful lives. By providing safe and affordable housing, we aim to create a supportive community where residents feel welcomed, valued, and empowered.

Eligibility
To qualify for our Subsidized Housing Program, applicants must:
- Be 19 years of age or older
- Priority will be given to people with a primary diagnosis of a mental illness.
- Meet financial criteria
- Deep subsidy units: Applicants must receive income assistance such as PWD or CPP (currently full; waitlist only)
- Rent-Geared-to-Income (RGI): Applicants must have low income without income assistance
- Lower-End Market Units:
- These units are intended for individuals with moderate or average incomes who may not qualify for subsidized housing but still need access to more affordable rental options.
- Income Guidelines:
- 1-Bedroom Units: Maximum income of $85,870
- 2 & 3-Bedroom Units: Maximum income of $138,770
- These homes are offered at below-market rates to help make housing more accessible while supporting independence and stability.
- Please note: These units are limited,and availability may be restricted. Applicants may be placed on awaitlist depending on demand.
- Be able to live independently
- Must be on the BC Housing Registry list
