Orientation and Outreach help members get connected and stay
connected to the Clubhouse.

 

For new members, this includes welcoming first visits,
setting up tours, and offering support as they learn about Clubhouse life and
explore different units. The focus is on making membership approachable,
welcoming, and easy to navigate.

 

Outreach supports ongoing connection. Members and staff stay
in touch through calls, notes, visits, and shared milestones, helping ensure
people feel supported and remembered, even during challenging times.

 

Members help manage the reception area, greet visitors,
handle phone calls, and support day-to-day administrative tasks such as data
entry, forms, filing, and mail-outs. This work supports the Clubhouse while
helping members develop practical skills used in many workplaces.

Our in-house editing room gives members opportunities to
explore creativity, communication, and digital skills.

 

Members participate in producing Clubhouse publications such
as News & Views, a monthly journal-style publication featuring articles and
interviews created by members and staff.

 

The unit also works on video projects ranging from informal,
in-house announcements to more polished productions that highlight Clubhouse
activities and stories.

 

Members and staff collaborate on social media content for
platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok, using writing, design, and
visual storytelling skills to share what’s happening at Pathways.

Members participate in financial and organizational tasks
such as budgeting support, record keeping, processing donations, and managing
petty cash.

 

The unit also contributes to fund development efforts,
including grant support, event planning, and preparations for the annual
fundraising gala.

 

Members may assist with preparing reports, supporting
governance processes, and helping maintain the Clubhouse website so information
stays accurate and accessible.
